Teresia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and co-founder of Avalon Counseling & Consultation. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Ball State University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Indiana University.

 Teresia has over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings that include the Office of Family and Children, Delaware County Community Corrections, Ivy Tech State College and a local residential treatment facility.

 Teresia uses an ecclectic approach to therapy in order to tailor treatment to her client's individual needs and abilities.
